
This is a lovely addition to many meals. It goes well with curries, Chinese dishes, or even a good old British pie and mash.
Ingredients
- 1 savoy cabbage, shredded
- 1tsp fennel seeds
- 1tsp chilli flakes
- Splash of oil for cooking
- Sesame oil
- Soy sauce
Method
1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan, and once hot, add the fennel seeds and chilli flakes. Fry for 1 or 2 minutes.
2. Add the cabbage to the pan, allow it to sit and brown before stirring. Keep repeating this until it’s all a little browned and has softened.
3. Add a splash of soy sauce to the pan and stir well. Finish with a drizzle of sesame oil and serve.
